Preparation includes weed removal, bed redefining, and optional soil amendments such as compost for organic matter. We can apply a targeted pre-emergent (where appropriate) to curb weed germination. Mulch is installed at 2–3 inches, with a 3–6 inch clearance from trunks and plant crowns to protect root flares and promote airflow.
Finishing touches matter: we groom surfaces for a smooth, even appearance, water lightly to settle fibers, and clean hardscapes.
